As the RN Supervisor at The Hilltop at Blue River, you own 24-hour nursing operations in a long-term care facility, ensuring quality care for residents in accordance with physician orders and Federal and State regulations. You lead the nursing team, coordinate admissions, and manage resident care plans, stepping into the Director of Nursing role when needed. What You'll Do5
- 1Coordinate total care plans for each resident, aligning with physician orders, Federal and State regulations, and facility policies.
- 2Lead nursing staff by interpreting policies, monitoring practices, and ensuring consistent implementation of care standards.
- 3Participate in all admission decisions, including visiting prospective residents when needed.
- 4Drive daily and weekly management meetings to review resident status, census changes, staffing, and concerns.
- 5Ensure compassionate care delivery through adequate staff coverage, cleanliness, pressure wound prevention, and optimal resident function.
Requirements4
- 1Current RN or LPN license in the state of practice.
- 2Associate or Bachelor degree from an accredited nursing school.
- 35+ years in long-term or acute care preferred.
- 42+ years of nursing supervisory experience required.
