Registered Nurse RN Supervisor Post Acute 16hr Shifts
Overview
RN Supervisor leads resident care on 16 hour weekend shifts at a 200-bed post-acute facility in Pittsburgh. You’ll supervise CNAs under the DON, ensure compliance with state and federal standards, and provide direct resident care. This onsite role supports an expanding PACS network focusing on compassionate care, professional growth, and flexible PRN opportunities within the region. You will collaborate with a diverse team to maintain high-quality outcomes and support staff development.
What You'll Do5
- 1Lead direct resident care and supervise certified nursing aides to ensure high-quality outcomes
- 2Coordinate with the Director of Nursing to ensure compliance with state, federal, and local standards
- 3Provide hands-on care during your shift and assist residents with activities of daily living
- 4Monitor resident conditions, document progress, and communicate changes to the care team
- 5Support PRN opportunities within the network and share interest in growth and development
Requirements5
- 1Current, unencumbered PA RN license
- 2Current CPR certification
- 3Ability to communicate and empathize with a vulnerable population
- 4Experience with PCC preferred
- 5Ability to maintain required continuing education/licensing and stay in good standing with State Board of Nursing
