LPN, Weekend Nursing — Post Acute Care, Pittsburgh
Overview
Lead weekend nursing care for a 160-bed post-acute facility serving residents in a supportive, family-oriented team. You’ll provide direct patient care, supervise CNAs, and ensure compliance with state and federal standards under the DON. You’ll join a multi-disciplinary team with strong clinical care and therapy services at a 4-star facility, part of a growing PACS network. This role offers PRN opportunities across facilities and emphasizes professional development and personal growth.
What You'll Do5
- 1Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNA activities.
- 2Supervise day-to-day nursing tasks to ensure quality care and compliance.
- 3Coordinate with the DON to meet state, federal, and local standards.
- 4Document care plans and updates accurately and timely.
- 5Support staff through education and supervision to maintain high care standards.
Requirements5
- 1Current, unencumbered PA nursing license
- 2Current CPR certification
- 3Ability to maintain required continuing education/licensing and good standing with the State Board of Nursing
- 4Experience with PCC preferred
- 5Ability to work weekends and provide reliable, compassionate care
