Overview
You'll deliver direct nursing care to 200 residents at Highland Hills Post Acute, a post-acute facility in Pittsburgh. You'll supervise CNA daily activities and ensure compliance with state, federal, and local standards, working under the DON. This role offers $31-$35/hr, $2/hr shift differential, and PayActiv same-day pay, plus PTO for your birthday and nursing school loan repayment. You'll join a PACS network with PRN opportunities across 8 regional facilities, and we support your growth with tuition and specialty goals.
What You'll Do7
- 1Deliver direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and treatment, within the first 90 days.
- 2Supervise day-to-day nursing activities of CNAs, ensuring quality care and documentation.
- 3Collaborate with the DON to maintain compliance with current state, federal, and local standards.
- 4Use PCC (PointClickCare) for electronic health records and care planning.
- 5Communicate empathetically with residents, families, and team members to address needs.
- 6Maintain current CPR certification and continue education/licensing per Pennsylvania Board of Nursing.
- 7Contribute to a culture of appreciation and mutual respect, embodying our 'high five' spirit.
Requirements5
- 1Current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN in Pennsylvania.
- 2Current CPR certification.
- 3Experience with PCC (PointClickCare) preferred.
- 4Ability to maintain required continuing education and licensing, staying in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
- 5Strong communication and empathy skills for working with a vulnerable population.
