Overview
This role owns patient care in a 36-bed Progressive Care Unit at a Level 1 Trauma designated hospital. You will provide continuous telemetry monitoring and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality nursing care. The position offers day shifts with weekend rotations and a $3/hour weekend differential, plus a hire-on bonus for eligible RN experience.
What You'll Do8
- 1Assess patient needs and plan care in collaboration with the health care team
- 2Develop and revise the plan of care including discharge planning
- 3Deliver direct patient care and coordinate activities of the care team
- 4Evaluate patient progress and adapt care plans as needed
- 5Document care plans and patient responses accurately and timely
- 6Participate in unit leadership and mentor others within the facility
- 7Contribute to quality improvement and patient outcomes
- 8Communicate effectively with patients, families and other providers
Requirements5
- 1Must possess a current valid RN license in state of practice or compact license
- 2BLS certification required
- 3One year of acute care experience in the specialty area or recent graduate acceptable with appropriate pathways
- 4Ability to operate in a high acuity environment and participate in ongoing education
- 5Drivers license and auto insurance if working in Home Health setting
