Registered Nurse Detox Facility Mesa AZ
Overview
Own the nursing care for detox clients at a licensed facility in Mesa, delivering direct assessments, medication administration, and crisis response within a multidisciplinary team. Work across shifts in a fast paced behavioral health environment to support clients through withdrawal. Collaborate with Medical Director, providers, and BHTs to ensure safe, compassionate, and goal oriented care. This role offers full-time, part-time, and PRN options with 24/7 coverage.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build direct nursing care for detox clients and monitor withdrawal progression
- 2Design and perform nursing assessments and reassessments per protocol
- 3Administer medications safely per provider orders and document in EMR
- 4Monitor and respond to changes in client condition and escalate when needed
- 5Adhere to withdrawal management protocols and ensure accurate medication reconciliation
- 6Collaborate with medical providers on admission orders and treatment plans
- 7Provide client education on medications, withdrawal, and continuing care
- 8Maintain medication storage, documentation, and controlled substance procedures
- 9Document within EMR with timely, accurate notes and chart reviews
- 10Participate in multidisciplinary teamwork and shift handoffs to ensure continuity of care
Requirements5
- 1Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- 2Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Arizona or qualifying multistate privilege
- 3Current CPR/BLS certification
- 4Ability to complete background, fingerprinting, credentialing requirements
- 5Strong nursing assessment and clinical decision making skills
