What You'll Do10

  • 1Build patient care plans under medical protocols and standards of practice
  • 2Administer medications and provide medication education
  • 3Assess medical needs, determine urgency, and initiate interventions or referrals
  • 4Monitor psychiatric symptoms, treatment effectiveness, and safety concerns
  • 5Transcribe document and implement provider orders accurately
  • 6Collaborate with physicians psychiatrists nursing leadership and treatment teams
  • 7Document in the electronic medical record timely and accurately
  • 8Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
  • 9Support medication management and controlled substance processes with leadership
  • 10Contribute to interdisciplinary treatment planning and patient safety initiatives

Requirements10

  • 1Active unrestricted RN license in North Carolina
  • 2Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • 3Minimum of two years nursing experience preferred with substance use disorder treatment and detox strongly preferred
  • 4Working knowledge of nursing standards of care for mental health and substance use disorders
  • 5Strong clinical assessment documentation organizational and communication skills
  • 6Ability to remain professional objective and calm in high-stress situations
  • 7Understanding of patient confidentiality ethical practice and regulatory compliance
  • 8Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team
  • 9Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred
  • 10Commitment to mission-driven ethical and compliant care
