Overview
Drive route coverage across the Southeast as Regional Relief Driver for Capital Waste Services. Handle collection for residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal clients. Operate Front End Loaders, Automated Side Loaders, Rear Loaders, and Roll-Off Trucks. Support teams in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida. Adapt to new routes and environments with 100% travel. Company covers travel and accommodations. CDL required. 5+ years of driving experience.
What You'll Do10
- 1Operate collection vehicles per DOT and company policies.
- 2Cover routes during shortages, vacations, and peak periods.
- 3Collect waste across residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal stops.
- 4Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting all checks.
- 5Log route data, vehicle inspection records, and service notes.
- 6Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, and mechanics.
- 7Deliver customer service with a professional appearance.
- 8Report safety issues, accidents, and equipment problems.
- 9Train or mentor team members when assigned.
- 10Follow safety and environmental policies at each site.
Requirements8
- 1Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
- 22+ years driving Class A or Class B vehicles.
- 3Clean MVR and insurability.
- 4Pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
- 5Travel 100% across Southeast states.
- 6Work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- 7Operate Front End Loaders, Automated Side Loaders, Rear Loaders, and Roll-Off Trucks.
- 8Willingness to adapt to new routes and facilities.
