
Receptionist & Caregiver at Apple Valley Villa - HHA PCA CNA TMA
Overview
Own front desk operations and provide person-centered care for seniors at a Cassia community in Apple Valley MN. You will greet visitors answer calls route inquiries and support administrative tasks while delivering compassionate care to residents. This role blends reception responsibilities with direct caregiving including light ADLs medication administration and med passing, contributing to a respectful and supportive environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build welcoming front desk experiences by greeting visitors and guiding them to the appropriate destination
- 2Answer and route phone calls and manage facility communications to ensure timely responses
- 3Assist in administrative tasks across departments and perform typing duties when needed
- 4Provide routine nursing care and support residents with ADLs including showering bathing and grooming
- 5Administer medications to residents as assigned and communicate concerns to licensed staff
- 6Support resident safety by remaining aware of emergencies and following established procedures
- 7Coordinate with licensed nursing staff to relay information and ensure continuity of care
- 8Direct and accompany visitors to their destinations within the facility
- 9Maintain professional customer service standards while handling multiple interruptions
- 10Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on resident well being
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent with prior customer service or reception experience
- 2HHA PCA CNA or equivalent certification/experience required
- 3Med Passer experience preferred but not required
- 4Proficient computer skills and ability to type and perform clerical duties
- 5Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- 6Ability to prioritize organize and multitask with frequent interruptions
- 7Dependable punctuality and flexible availability including some evenings weekends and holidays
- 8Strong customer service orientation with a professional demeanor
- 9Ability to work onsite in Apple Valley MN
- 10Capable of following medication administration and safety procedures under supervision
