Reception Associate, Fitness Center
Overview
As the Reception Associate, you own the front desk experience for a dynamic fitness center, greeting every member with a personalized touch and supporting daily operations. You work hand-in-hand with the Manager to keep payroll, membership audits, and financial reports accurate. Your role anchors the member experience, from enrollment to locker and towel services, ensuring a clean, stocked, and welcoming environment. This position stands out for its focus on holistic health and the opportunity to earn CPR/FA certifications within 90 days.
What You'll Do8
- 1Greet and welcome new fitness center members, guiding them through membership enrollment and front desk operations.
- 2Coordinate with the Manager to ensure accurate payroll for all front desk staff.
- 3Assist with financial tracking reports, pulling data from Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
- 4Maintain accurate tracking of locker and towel service programs, including inventory counts and orders.
- 5Complete membership audits each month, verifying member records and reporting discrepancies.
- 6Respond to member concerns and suggestions with professionalism, logging each issue and resolution.
- 7Keep fitness centers well stocked and clean, organizing supplies and sanitizing high-touch surfaces.
- 8Support additional tasks as needed, from scheduling to special projects.
Requirements8
- 1High School diploma or equivalent obtained.
- 21+ years in a customer-facing role, ideally in fitness or hospitality.
- 3Strong organizational skills and a customer-service oriented approach.
- 4Hands-on proficiency with Google Applications and Microsoft Office.
- 5Written and verbal communication skills that are clear and professional.
- 6Ability to earn CPR/FA certification within 90 days of hire.
- 7Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- 8Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
