Member Services Representative, Fitness & Sales
Overview
You will own the front-desk experience at Absolute Recomp, handling member check-ins, inbound calls, and membership sales at a high-volume Dallas fitness studio. You will join a tight-knit team of 5-7 fitness professionals who prioritize member retention and cleanliness. This entry-level role includes full training on sales techniques and immediate incentive eligibility, so you can earn bonuses from day one. Unlike typical front-desk jobs, you will also lead facility walkthroughs and equipment demos to keep members engaged.
What You'll Do7
- 1Own the member check-in process and verify membership status for every visitor.
- 2Clean and restock equipment, locker rooms, and studio spaces to keep the gym spotless.
- 3Answer inbound calls and respond to email inquiries about memberships, pricing, and class schedules.
- 4Lead facility tours for prospective members and highlight key amenities like the sauna and group fitness areas.
- 5Close membership sales and upsell personal training packages using proven sales scripts and CRM tools.
- 6Resolve member complaints in real time and escalate unresolved issues to the membership manager.
- 7Assist with retention calls to inactive members and schedule re-engagement workouts.
Requirements8
- 11+ year in customer service, retail, or hospitality.
- 26+ months of sales or membership experience (preferred but not required).
- 3Strong verbal communication skills in English; bilingual is a plus.
- 4Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift 50 lbs of equipment.
- 5High school diploma or GED.
- 6Must pass a background check before start date.
- 7Open availability including weekends and evenings.
- 8Knowledge of fitness trends and gym etiquette is a bonus.
