Overview
You will own the front desk experience at Planet Fitness, greeting members and guests with energy and warmth. You'll handle check-ins, answer phones, sign up new members, and give tours, ensuring every interaction leaves a positive impression. Joining a small team of fitness enthusiasts, you'll partner with managers to keep the club spotless and welcoming. This seasonal role offers direct exposure to gym operations and member relations.
What You'll Do8
- 1Greet members and guests, delivering outstanding service at the front desk.
- 2Check members into the system and assist with account updates.
- 3Answer phones, answering questions about memberships and club amenities.
- 4Sign up new members and guide prospective members on club tours.
- 5Address member concerns promptly, escalating to management as needed.
- 6Keep the front desk and lobby area clean and organized throughout your shift.
- 7Assist with club cleanliness, including wiping down equipment and tidying up.
- 8Support team members during peak hours, covering breaks and managing lines.
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED required.
- 218+ years old.
- 3Customer service background preferred.
- 4Basic computer proficiency.
- 5Passion for fitness and health.
- 6Upbeat and positive attitude.
- 7Punctuality and reliability a must.
- 8Strong listening and problem-solving skills.
- 9Able to stand and walk for the full shift.
- 10Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
