Member Services Representative, Planet Fitness San Diego
Overview
Own the front desk experience at a fast-growing Planet Fitness location in San Diego, serving hundreds of members daily. You will greet, check in, and support members while enforcing the Judgement Free Zone. Part of a team of 5-10, reporting to the Assistant Manager, with a path to leadership in a franchise expanding from 33 to 60+ locations. This role offers CPR Certification and AED/First Aid training, plus a clear route to management.
What You'll Do9
- 1Greet members and guests with a smile, creating a welcoming Judgement Free Zone atmosphere.
- 2Tour prospective members through the facility, highlighting equipment and amenities.
- 3Check members into the system and handle new sign-ups using the PF software.
- 4Answer phones and assist callers with questions about memberships and services.
- 5Guide members to download the PF Mobile App and update their accounts as needed.
- 6Respond to member concerns promptly, escalating to the Assistant Manager or Manager when needed.
- 7Complete assigned cleaning tasks to keep the club spotless and safe.
- 8Sell tanning lotions and memberships, meeting daily engagement goals.
- 9Build community connections through friendly interactions and local outreach.
Requirements9
- 11+ year customer service background preferred.
- 2Basic computer proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office.
- 3High School diploma or GED required.
- 418 years or older.
- 5CPR Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- 6Upbeat and positive attitude, with a passion for fitness and health.
- 7Strong listening and problem-solving skills, with diplomatic communication.
- 8Punctuality and reliability, with ability to stand and walk for 8-hour shifts.
- 9Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
