What You'll Do8

  • 1Collaborate with title examiners to prepare title commitments and binders, and with loan closers to draft HUD-1 settlement statements.
  • 2Process sale and refinance transactions from contract review through title abstract verification and compliance.
  • 3Communicate daily with buyers, sellers, realtors, and lenders to track file requirements and clear conditions.
  • 4Input data into Qualia and generate closing documents for each transaction.
  • 5Prepare and balance Closing Disclosure and ALTA statements based on lender instructions and contract terms.
  • 6Upload signed documents to lenders for funding authorization and coordinate wire balancing.
  • 7Verify title commitment requirements are met and resolve any outstanding issues before closing.
  • 8Balance final files to lender and buyer wires, then prepare disbursements for settlement.

Requirements8

  • 12-3 years of experience as a real estate title or mortgage processor.
  • 2Demonstrated ability to manage multiple files simultaneously with high accuracy.
  • 3Proficiency in preparing HUD-1 and Closing Disclosure statements.
  • 4Experience using title production software such as Qualia or similar platforms.
  • 5Familiarity with title abstracts, title commitments, and underwriting requirements.
  • 6Excellent communication skills for frequent interaction with clients and stakeholders.
  • 7Detail-oriented approach to reviewing contracts and compliance documents.
