Radar Systems Engineer Seattle
Overview
SciTec seeks a Systems Engineer to lead radar modernization at Denver. You will own end-to-end development of advanced radar capabilities replacing legacy architectures with digital open cyber resilient solutions. This role drives system-level problem solving and performance assurance.
What You'll Do11
- 1Own radar modernization features as primary technical owner
- 2Lead cross-functional teams across hardware embedded software DSP and cloud backends
- 3Develop testable system requirements and acceptance criteria for modernized radar capabilities
- 4Analyze test and operational data using Python SQL to evaluate feature performance
- 5Oversee integration testing including hardware-in-the-loop simulation-driven validation
- 6Debug full-stack radar issues spanning RF data collection DSP pipelines and cloud processing
- 7Manage delivery plans communicating timelines scope and risks to leadership
- 8Coordinate with internal partners and government stakeholders
- 9Plan and execute delivery from concept through customer release
- 10Maintain autonomous operation in evolving technical environments
- 11Support hardware-software integration such as sensors and real-time data pipelines
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree in physical sciences mathematics engineering or computer science
- 2Experience with radar systems RF front-end digital beamforming signal processing
- 38+ years integrating hardware firmware and software systems preferably sensors or real-time mission systems
- 4Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- 5Proficiency with MATLAB Python and Linux
- 6Demonstrated leadership collaborating across engineering disciplines
- 7Ability to write system requirements test plans and feature specifications
- 8Experience with Agile software development processes and tools like Jira
- 9Active DoD security clearance
- 10Colorado residency preferred
