Overview
Design and lead development of RT embedded software for Gen4 Tactical Airborne Radar. Own complex technical problems and deliver innovative solutions. Lead cross‑functional teams and mentor engineers. Ensure performance against technical cost schedule and quality standards. Secure DoD Secret clearance and maintain SAP/SAR access. Work onsite at Raytheon El Segundo, CA.

- 1Build RT embedded software for radar modes using C/C++/ADA across SDLC phases
- 2Design and integrate hardware‑software components within agile teams
- 3Debug and troubleshoot system performance issues using investigative techniques

- 5Mentor junior engineers in radar domain knowledge and best practices
- 6Support SAP/SAR processes for continued employment authorization

Requirements9
- 15+ years of experience building radar software applications
- 2DoD Secret clearance required and maintainable post‑day‑1
- 3U.S. citizenship mandatory for clearance eligibility
- 4Degree in STEM field with proven software development background
- 5Expertise with UNIX Linux Windows VxWorks or other RTOS platforms
- 6Proficiency in agile scrum methodologies and collaborative tool suites
- 7Ability to obtain and retain Top Secret clearance if applicable
- 8Strong analytical abilities to resolve complex technical issues
- 9Demonstrated track record of delivering large complex embedded systems
