Overview
TSC seeks a Radar Systems Engineer to lead Model and Simulation of Navy Combat Systems. This role involves customer interactions and task management for M&S development and reporting to Navy and Missile Defense Agency leadership. The position focuses on AAW and BMD systems within a software model environment. Data analysis and assessment of fielded hardware and software will be performed.
What You'll Do11
- 1Build simulation setups and execute them while analyzing data and presenting results
- 2Manage model development enhancements or error corrections
- 3Report community activities and expectations to senior staff
- 4Interact regularly with government customers for technical and operational tasks
- 5Document and present findings to mixed audiences including technical operational and managerial staff
- 6Collaborate with radar system and modeling engineers
- 7Maintain DoD Top Secret security clearance
- 8Obtain and retain security clearance throughout employment
- 9Drive performance assessments via simulation
- 10Perform statistical analysis signal processing and track filtering
- 11Contribute to blending technical and operational responsibilities
Requirements11
- 15+ years experience in Combat System engineering and assessment
- 25+ years experience in model and simulation development and execution
- 3Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science or comparable technical degree with strong physics and math foundation
- 4Active DoD Secret clearance
- 5U.S. Citizenship required
- 6Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret clearance
- 7Strong written and oral communication skills
- 8Experience in combat system design evaluation testing sensors command and control weapons
- 9Interest in Navy AEGIS Combat System and defense technology
- 10Willingness to handle both technical and operational tasks
- 11Eligibility to obtain DoD security clearance
