Senior Systems Engineer Radar Data Analysis - AN/TPY-2
Overview
We seek a Senior Systems Engineer to lead radar data analysis for the AN/TPY-2 missile defense program. This onsite role in Woburn, MA involves evaluating sensor data and driving system performance improvements. The ideal candidate will own end-to-end analysis workflows and translate complex findings into actionable insights.
What You'll Do11
- 1Parse and analyze raw sensor data to assess algorithm performance and tracking accuracy
- 2Conduct scenario-based analysis to resolve technical observations
- 3Perform system performance assessments and validation testing
- 4Lead requirements analysis and traceability across the V&V lifecycle
- 5Develop MATLAB and Python scripts for data ingestion and reporting
- 6Translate data findings into technical presentations for stakeholders
- 7Establish and monitor KPMs and TPMs to track system health
- 8Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve radar detection capabilities
- 9Create automated workflows for handling large-scale tactical data feeds
- 10Maintain documentation and coordinate with IBM DOORS for requirement tracking
- 11Drive continuous improvement through agile methodologies and problem-solving
Requirements11
- 1Active DoD security clearance prior to start date
- 2U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility
- 3Minimum 5 years relevant experience in systems engineering or defense
- 4Proficiency in MATLAB and Python for automation and modeling
- 5Background in radar systems and missile defense programs
- 6Understanding of systems engineering tools and practices
- 7Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time-critical deadlines
- 8Strong technical writing and presentation skills
- 9Experience with Agile Scrum development practices
- 10PhD or Master's degree in engineering or related field
- 11Existing DoD security clearance
