Overview
The Quality Manager will lead vehicle quality across the entire lifecycle from design to delivery. This role focuses on establishing robust quality systems to ensure exceptional product quality and customer satisfaction. It involves developing processes improve manufacturing and driving continuous improvements.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead the quality team responsible for vehicle quality at the factory monitor manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvements
- 2Develop and improve systems procedures that support a Plant Quality Management System
- 3Create a QMS system using QA and QMS methodologies to drive process and product improvements
- 4Conduct internal audits define strengths and weaknesses and ensure effectiveness
- 5Review audit findings with auditors and management issue corrective actions to close
- 6Maintain QA and QMS metrics through timely delivery of assignments and action plans
- 7Implement quality standards as part of the QMS to meet customer expectations
- 8Perform gap analysis during new system development and report results to department leaders
- 9Lead cross-functional teams to investigate root causes and corrective actions
- 10Communicate quality performance investigations and corrective actions
- 11Expand quality function focusing on people growth process improvement and management by KPI
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 2Proven experience in Quality Engineering and Quality Management especially in automotive industry
- 3Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 IATF 16949 quality management systems
- 4Experience leading and developing quality engineering teams
- 5In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes
- 6Proficiency in root cause analysis statistical analysis and problem solving techniques such as Six Sigma 8D Red-X methodology
- 7Excellent communication skills collaboration across cross-functional teams
- 8Knowledge of electric vehicle regulations and standards
- 9Master's degree in engineering or related field
- 10Strong attention to detail passion for high-quality products
