What You'll Do11
- 1Lead a team of QA Documentation Specialists and oversee new hire training and onboarding
- 2Prepare nuclear specialty valve documentation packages following QA programs and specifications
- 3Communicate issues to Contracts and Engineering to prevent on‑time shipping delays
- 4Edit and distribute procedures covering welding NDE inspections calibration and training
- 5Coordinate ASME and National Board certification administration for Emerson products
- 6Track valve certification renewals and verify UV stamped nameplate capacities
- 7Maintain focus on business objectives and execute daily work plans
- 8Fill critical gaps when workload demands exceed staffing levels
- 9Report performance concerns and resource suggestions to the QA Manager
- 10Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve operational goals
- 11Ensure all QA processes are completed and support colleagues during absences
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED minimum two years supervisory experience one to two years in manufacturing with QA emphasis
- 2Bachelor degree in a technical field and proven attention to detail
- 3Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel and Access
- 41‑2 years experience with ASME Code documentation
- 5Familiarity with nuclear specialty valve documentation practices
- 6Strong multitasking abilities and ability to meet deadlines independently
- 7Bachelor degree in a business of technical discipline preferred
- 8Commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization
- 9Experience with collaborative, process‑oriented roles
