Overview
We are seeking a Quality Control Manager for our Apex facility to lead QM operations and ensure project success. This role involves overseeing inspection resources managing compliance and collaborating with cross-functional teams. It requires strong leadership and technical expertise to drive continuous improvement.
What You'll Do11
- 1Maintain safe working environments through proactive hazard identification
- 2Manage inspector resources including third-party personnel
- 3Provide project-wide oversight on quality compliance and documentation
- 4Monitor construction activities and review material deliveries for specification adherence
- 5Coordinate punch list resolution and corrective actions
- 6Manage contract documents and understand risk mitigation strategies
- 7Oversee ASME AWS IPC AWWA UPC welding projects
- 8Establish metrics for inspection trends and root cause analysis
- 9Implement change orders related to quality processes
- 10Communicate with internal staff third-party vendors and EMCOR IT
- 11Collaborate with engineers and managers to achieve project objectives
Requirements10
- 1ASME AWS IPC AWWA UPC welding experience
- 2Ability to read technical literature and blueprints
- 3Proficiency in MS Office applications
- 4Certification in code stamping
- 5Minimum 15 years construction industry experience
- 6OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification
- 7Physical stamina for fieldwork and travel
- 8Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- 9Experience with QA/QC systems and reporting platforms
- 10Excellent communication and mentoring skills
