Quality Control Manager - Federal
Overview
Lead and oversee quality assurance and control programs across multiple sites to ensure compliance with industry standards and client expectations. Manage teams and develop procedures while directing quality control staff. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high performance levels.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assist in implementing the project QA/QC program under supervisor guidance
- 2Review specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements
- 3Inspect materials equipment and installation processes during construction
- 4Coordinate required tests and inspections at witness points and completion stages
- 5Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare non-conformance reports
- 6Participate in root cause analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- 7Perform internal audits to verify corrective actions
- 8Submit QA/QC documentation for project handover and close-out
- 9Monitor testing equipment calibration and certification
- 10Refer technical questions to QAQC supervisors
- 11Promote safety culture and adhere to all company policies
Requirements10
- 15+ years managing mechanical and plumbing installations
- 2Proficiency in MS Office applications and construction management software
- 3Strong knowledge of mechanical and plumbing codes
- 4Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- 5Ability to multitask while meeting deadlines
- 6Demand physical stamina for demanding work environment
- 7Experience with Autodesk Build BIM 360 Cx Alloy Stratus Revit Procore
- 8Qualification requiring bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 9Preference for candidates with 10+ years related experience
- 10Responsibility for supervisory duties
