As a Quality Control Technician at Oldcastle Infrastructure, you own the daily quality assurance of concrete products across a high-volume industrial plant. What You'll Do6

  • 1Run daily compressive strength tests on hardened concrete specimens using ASTM C39 standards
  • 2Inspect pre-pour and post-pour products to catch defects before they reach customers
  • 3Monitor production operations in real time, flagging issues that affect quality
  • 4Assist with strip, setup, and pouring tasks when production needs extra hands
  • 5Report process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns to the management team
  • 6Maintain lab equipment and calibrate testing tools to ensure accurate readings

Requirements6

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent
  • 21+ year quality control experience in a related manufacturing industry
  • 3ACI Concrete Field Testing certification preferred, or ability to pass within 3 months of hire
  • 4Basic computer skills for data entry and test reports
  • 5Ability to read and write simple instructions, and communicate effectively with team members
  • 6Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day
