Construction Materials Testing Technician
Overview
We seek a skilled individual to join our team at Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates. This role offers a starting salary of $18.00/hr with no prior experience. Candidates will contribute to land development and construction projects through field observations sampling and testing of various construction materials. What You'll Do5
- 1Conduct field observations at jobsites
- 2Perform sampling and testing of soil aggregates concrete grout masonry asphalt and structural steel
- 3Prepare accurate daily logs documenting inspections and test results
- 4Communicate project progress to PM or Operations Manager
- 5Maintain attention to detail while adhering to safety requirements

- 1Reliable vehicle with valid driver's license
- 2Ability to lift 60-80 pounds
- 3Work in all outdoor climates and varied terrain
- 4Strong verbal and written communication skills
- 5Proficiency with company provided tablet and MS Office applications
