Overview
Alta E&I seeks a dependable Construction Materials Field Technician to join the Geotechnical Engineering team. This role involves overseeing post tension inspections managing field equipment and adhering to safety guidelines. Candidates must demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
What You'll Do7
- 1Oversee full post tension inspections including pad and trench certification pre slab concrete sampling stressing epoxy and grade verification
- 2Perform all ATTI certified tests in the field
- 3Communicate directly with clients regarding project needs
- 4Manage personal field equipment
- 5Strictly adhere to OSHA and company safety guidelines
- 6Complete in house training
- 7Travel locally during business days with occasional out of area overnight trips
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma or GED required
- 2Valid Arizona driver's license with acceptable driving record
- 3All field level certifications nuclear safety ACI and ATTI field
- 43+ years of experience sampling testing soils and ABC from job sites and roadways
- 5Good written and verbal skills
- 6City of Phoenix certified tester or ability to secure certifications within six months of hire
- 7Knowledge of soil mechanics and sampling of concrete and asphalt
