Property Manager, Chicago
Overview
The Property Manager leads commercial property operations across retail office industrial and medical office assets. This role owns performance at scale delivering exceptional client service and tenant relationships while managing teams and vendor partnerships.
What You'll Do11
- 1Manage daily operations for assigned properties ensuring compliance with ownership standards
- 2Lead tenant communications lease compliance and retention initiatives
- 3Prepare and manage annual budgets forecasts and monthly financial reports
- 4Review operating expenses approve invoices and monitor variances
- 5Oversee maintenance repairs and capital improvement projects coordinating with engineering and vendors
- 6Negotiate vendor contracts ensure performance and insurance compliance
- 7Support client reporting presentations and ownership meetings
- 8Supervise and mentor property management team members including assistant property managers and property assistants
- 9Maintain knowledge of market trends lease structures and building systems
- 10Ensure adherence to safety environmental and regulatory standards across assets
- 11Drive process improvements that enhance efficiency and service delivery
Requirements7
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 24+ years commercial property management experience
- 3Active real estate license (or willingness to obtain within six months)
- 4Strong financial and analytical skills proficiency in Yardi MRI Kardin or equivalent systems
- 5Excellent organizational communication and leadership abilities
- 6Demonstrated success managing vendor relationships and client expectations
- 7Ability to manage multiple assets and priorities simultaneously
Salary Insight
$75 - $85k per year
