Overview

Lead all aspects of a commercial, industrial, or retail property portfolio, serving as the primary owner representative and driving client objectives. Oversee Yardi or MRI lease administration, financial reporting, and capital planning while managing a team of property managers. This role requires strong leadership and financial acumen to maximize asset performance across 720M+ square feet.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Act as primary contact with property owners, preparing and delivering timely, accurate reports that track client objectives.
  • 2Manage team response to tenant needs, developing a tenant care program that boosts retention and satisfaction.
  • 3Direct preparation of monthly reports and annual budgets for operating and capital expenses, aligned with client requirements.
  • 4Oversee lease administration, monitoring contract terms that affect financial performance and reporting on expirations, covenants, and restrictions.
  • 5Collect rent and other charges, reporting AR status with action recommendations and preparing legal notices as needed.
  • 6Lead sourcing and procurement, consolidating vendors to achieve portfolio savings and managing contract compliance.
  • 7Supervise assigned team, including recruiting, training, and performance evaluations, while mentoring and coaching direct reports.
  • 8Conduct regular property inspections, recommending and approving alterations, maintenance, and reconditioning.
  • 9Implement emergency response plans, coordinating drills and training to ensure preparedness.
  • 10Drive results from direct reports by providing work direction, strategic guidance, and performance management.

Requirements10

  • 15-8 years of property management experience with a Bachelor's Degree preferred; combination of experience and education considered.
  • 2Real Estate License required where mandated by local regulation; CPM or RPA designation preferred.
  • 3Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • 4Working knowledge of Yardi, MRI, and Kardin preferred.
  • 5Proficiency in AP (Accounts Payable) and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • 6Experience with commercial office, retail, and industrial properties required.
  • 7Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles, with ability to forecast outcomes and prepare budgets.
  • 8Excellent written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • 9Demonstrated leadership experience to empower teams and achieve client objectives.
  • 10Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
