Property Management Financial Operations Manager
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Property Management Financial Operations Manager to oversee financial and operational functions of a growing property management company. This role coordinates between property owners tenants and vendors ensuring financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do11
- 1Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- 2Manage owner distributions and property management fee processing
- 3Process broker commissions leasing referrals and other agent payments
- 4Review owner statements for accuracy before monthly distributions
- 5Collaborate with bookkeeper to ensure timely financial processing
- 6Monitor company and trust bank accounts investigate discrepancies and maintain sufficient funding
- 7Track certificates of deposit account balances and banking activity
- 8Scan and process rent checks and other financial documents
- 9Maintain compliance with trust accounting procedures and company policies
- 10Oversee delinquency reporting and collection including preparing Pay or Quit Notices
- 11Coordinate certified mailings and communicate with owners and tenants during collection
Requirements11
- 1Three or more years of property management experience
- 2Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software
- 3Strong knowledge of accounts payable accounts receivable owner accounting trust accounting and banking
- 4Experience working with homeowners associations residential rentals and owner relations
- 5Familiarity with Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher programs
- 6Ability to sort scan and distribute incoming mail
- 7Proficiency with Microsoft Office especially Excel and property management software
- 8Excellent organizational and time management skills
- 9Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 10Attention to detail and problem solving abilities
- 11Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
Salary Insight
$60 - $70k per year
