Overview

We seek a dependable Property Maintenance Assistant to support our growing team in Minneapolis. The ideal candidate will own daily operations and deliver exceptional service across residential and commercial properties. This role offers a flexible schedule and competitive benefits.

What You'll Do18

  • 1Pick up maintenance supplies equipment and tools from retail stores suppliers and vendors
  • 2Deliver materials tools and equipment to maintenance personnel and job sites
  • 3Transport maintenance personnel or equipment between company properties as needed
  • 4Assist with apartment turnovers and make ready projects
  • 5Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs replacing furnace filters installing smoke detector batteries assembling furniture or fixtures painting touch ups and other basic maintenance duties
  • 6Conduct general demolition work during renovation and maintenance projects
  • 7Complete job site garage and property clean up including hauling debris and disposing of materials
  • 8Assist with landscaping projects including mowing trimming edging mulching planting watering pruning weeding leaf removal and general ground maintenance
  • 9Assist with seasonal maintenance including snow removal salting ice control and preparing properties for changing weather conditions
  • 10Load unload move and organize construction materials maintenance supplies and equipment
  • 11Organize and maintain maintenance storage areas shops and company vehicles
  • 12Perform company errands such as post office runs bank deposits purchasing supplies and delivering documents or materials between company locations
  • 13Assist maintenance technicians with general labor and special projects
  • 14Report property concerns maintenance issues or hazards to management
  • 15Maintain company vehicles trailers and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • 16Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • 17Represent GHS Development LLC professionally when interacting with residents vendors suppliers and coworkers
  • 18Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements12

  • 1High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 2Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
  • 3Approved to drive under the company's automobile insurance policy
  • 4Reliable transportation to and from work
  • 5Ability to safely operate company vehicles trailers and basic maintenance equipment
  • 6Dependable punctual organized and self motivated
  • 7Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • 8Good communication and customer service skills
  • 9Previous experience in property maintenance landscaping construction delivery services or general labor is preferred
  • 10Frequent lifting and carrying of 50 pounds or more
  • 11Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods in varying weather conditions
  • 12Safety awareness for loading unloading and transporting building materials landscaping supplies appliances and equipment
