Caretaker - Property Maintenance
Overview
Keep a Minneapolis property spotless and safe. You'll own cleaning, snow removal, and upkeep across indoor and outdoor spaces at Sand Property Management. Work 25 hours a week, mostly weekdays with weekend flexibility. Report directly to the Property Manager and help maintain a welcoming environment for residents.
What You'll Do12
- 1Vacuum hallways, stairwells, and common spaces, then mop floors.
- 2Walk the property to pick up trash and spot damaged areas needing repair.
- 3Pull weeds from rock beds and return stray landscaping rocks.
- 4Complete apartment turnovers, ensuring units are spotless for new residents.
- 5Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, then salt or sand as needed.
- 6Clean windows and doors in common areas.
- 7Empty trash receptacles both inside and outside.
- 8Dust blinds, furniture, and other common area surfaces.
- 9Replace hallway and common area light bulbs.
- 10Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
- 11Inspect the irrigation system to confirm all zones work, then report issues.
- 12Coordinate with the Property Manager and Maintenance Technician on seasonal tasks and thermostat settings.
Requirements8
- 11+ years of caretaker or related work experience preferred.
- 2Valid Driver's License required.
- 3Pass a drug test, physical, and background check.
- 4Strong organization and prioritization skills.
- 5Attention to detail in all tasks.
- 6Communicate regularly by phone and in person with the Property Manager.
- 7Work independently with minimal supervision.
