Project Scheduler P6, Utilities & Construction
Overview
Own project scheduling for a 12+ month contract in Columbus, OH. You will develop and analyze complex schedules using Primavera P6 for utility and construction scopes. Train schedulers and planners on P6 methods and integrated schedule development. This role requires 6+ years of P6 experience and a focus on critical path methodology. You will drive schedule standard work and mitigate risks that impact milestones.
What You'll Do7
- 1Define activities, durations, and sequence logic to build P6 schedules for transmission and substation projects.
- 2Develop integrated schedules with resource loading and leveling using Primavera P6 based on work packages.
- 3Mentor junior schedulers in organizing review meetings and incorporating stakeholder details.
- 4Engage teams to create schedules and provide analysis updates, flagging risks and delays.
- 5Communicate schedule status to project stakeholders and leadership.
- 6Diagnose and resolve schedule issues and variances in P6.
- 7Own project schedule standard work processes, leading development and implementation.
Requirements6
- 16+ years of Primavera P6 scheduling experience in utilities or construction.
- 25+ years of Primavera P6 experience required, with recent hands-on use.
- 3Qualified bachelor's degree with 8+ years experience or associate's degree with 10+ years.
- 4Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- 5Scheduling experience in transmission, substation, or construction preferred.
- 6Ability to commute to Columbus, OH 43215 and work onsite.
Salary Insight
$83 - $125k per year
