Project Controls Scheduler, Primavera P6 & CPM Scheduling
Overview
You will own schedule development, updates, and analysis for a large construction project in Detroit. You will walk the site to validate progress and keep the CPM schedule accurate. What You'll Do8
- 1Develop and update detailed CPM schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 for a large construction project.
- 2Walk the project site to assess physical progress and validate schedule performance.
- 3Monitor schedule variances and analyze critical path impacts.
- 4Integrate cost and resource loading into the schedule to support forecasting.
- 5Prepare schedule presentations and reports for stakeholders.
- 6Coordinate with project teams to align schedule updates with actual work progress.
- 7Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- 8Support claims avoidance by maintaining accurate schedule documentation.
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 25+ years of project scheduling or project controls experience.
- 3Hands-on scheduling experience with Oracle Primavera P6.
- 4Experience on large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, or mission-critical projects.
- 5Experience developing, updating, and analyzing CPM schedules including critical path and variance analysis.
- 6Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- 7Demonstrated capability with applicable software programs.
- 8Applicable professional certifications preferred (e.g., PSP, PMI-SP).
