Overview
Project Manager runs residential construction projects for Space Cowboy, a Central Texas general contractor. They own the full build: site walks, subcontractor coordination, client updates, and photo documentation in CompanyCam. The role reports directly to Dominic Watler, a builder-founder who clears roadblocks. This is a 1099 commission role with 10% of hard cost, paying $85,000 - $140,000 per year.
What You'll Do8
- 1Run projects end-to-end, from site walk to final walkthrough, including scheduling subs and holding them to scope.
- 2Walk jobsites daily, catching issues early and verifying subcontractor work matches the plan.

- 5Coordinate with Dominic Watler to resolve field challenges and remove blockers the same day.

Requirements7
- 15+ years in residential construction, including remodel, outdoor living, or general contracting.
- 2Proven experience managing subcontractors: scheduling, scope enforcement, and quality control.

- 4Comfortable with tech tools like CompanyCam and JobTread; must be willing to learn.
- 5Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and ability to travel to jobsites across Austin, San Antonio, and the Hill Country.
