Overview
The Project Manager will own new business opportunities at Whalar focusing on RFPs and RFIs. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver proposals and drive strategic initiatives. The position requires strong organizational skills and a focus on operational excellence.
What You'll Do11
- 1Manage and oversee entire process of new business opportunities ensuring milestones are met and proposals delivered on time
- 2Develop detailed project plans including timelines deliverables and resource allocation aligning stakeholders
- 3Act as central point of contact for each opportunity's workstreams facilitating communication between internal teams and stakeholders
- 4Support creator sourcing for proposals identifying and vetting talent that matches opportunity needs
- 5Have autonomy to make strategic decisions with vendor products and services to advance project progress
- 6Schedule and lead regular check-in meetings tracking action items and ensuring timely task completion
- 7Prepare agendas and manage progress meetings moving opportunities forward while aligning with business objectives
- 8Collaborate cross-functionally across New Business Strategy Measurement Paid Media and Client Services to clarify roles and responsibilities
- 9Spearhead development of presentations and pitch decks ensuring visual appeal and tailoring to client needs
- 10Use project management tools to track status provide updates to leadership on progress risks and resource needs
- 11Identify potential risks early and work with team to resolve issues before they escalate
Requirements8
- 14+ years of project management experience ideally in creator marketing media creative or new business environments
- 2Understanding of social media and creators
- 3Proven ability to manage multiple projects and proposals simultaneously in fast-paced settings
- 4Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail
- 5Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional team management and senior leadership liaison
- 6Ability to create and manage timelines ensuring team alignment with project goals and deliverables
- 7Proficiency in Google Slides for structuring compelling presentations
- 8Resilient problem-solving mindset navigating feedback and issues efficiently
