The Project Manager will independently manage multiple projects from award through closeout while maintaining schedules budgets and quality standards. - 9Manage submittals RFIs drawings specifications and document control
- 10Track action items and project correspondence
- 11Ensure project documentation remains current and complete
- 12Review project budgets and cost reports
- 13Track committed costs and subcontract agreements
- 14Prepare and negotiate change orders
- 15Review monthly job cost reports
- 16Assist with forecasting and cost-to-complete projections
- 17Support monthly WIP reporting
- 18Serve as primary client contact for assigned projects
- 19Attend owner meetings and site walks
- 20Provide project status updates
- 21Maintain positive working relationships with clients and consultants
- 22Resolve project issues professionally and promptly
- 23Coordinate with foremen and field supervisors
- 24Assist with manpower planning
- 25Monitor project productivity and schedule performance
- 26Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment
- 27Review project contracts and scopes
- 28Track insurance certified payroll prevailing wage and compliance requirements

Requirements12
- 15+ years of construction project management experience
- 23+ years managing California public works projects
- 3Strong Procore experience (RFIs submittals change orders daily logs document control)
- 4Ability to read plans and specifications managing project budgets and schedules
- 5Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 6Valid California driver's license
- 7Experience with JOC/Gordian projects
- 8Experience with university municipal or government agency clients
- 9Experience in union construction environments
- 10Knowledge of construction accounting principles and WIP reporting
- 11Experience with facility maintenance renovations and tenant improvements

Salary Insight
$140 - $180k per year
