What You'll Do10

  • 1Lead on-site teams to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • 2Own project cost administration including budgeting, weekly cost reports, and monthly forecasts.
  • 3Manage contract administration and change negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
  • 4Develop and maintain basic project schedules and ensure alignment with scope and risk.
  • 5Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure accurate production reporting to clients.
  • 6Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions including scheduling, material control, and accounting support.
  • 7Identify scope or condition changes, initiate claims, and drive change orders.
  • 8Maintain documentation integrity for risk management, audits, and closeout.
  • 9Drive the project from estimate to execution and closeout with a focus on profit and loss.
  • 10Handover lessons learned and conduct post-project reviews to improve future performance.

Requirements10

  • 1BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent project-related experience
  • 2More than ten years of progressive heavy civil construction experience
  • 3Most recent five years in progressive Project Management with direct supervisory experience in heavy civil construction
  • 4Skilled in project controls software including Excel, Microsoft Office/Project, Primavera (P6); AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
  • 5Strong understanding of construction engineering, codes, standards, and cross-functional relationships
  • 6Excellent written/verbal communication and leadership skills; able to resolve complex contract issues independently
  • 7Highly motivated, safety-focused, ethical, and committed to doing quality work
  • 8Strong time management, attention to detail, and sound decision-making abilities
  • 9Valid Driver's License and ability to drive on behalf of company business
  • 10Preferred: TWIC card, In-Situ Stabilization experience, Spanish fluency
