Commercial Project Manager, Construction & Site Leadership
Overview
Own construction project delivery from planning through closeout across multiple sites. Lead cross functional teams, manage budget and schedule, and ensure safety and quality standards. Collaborate with stakeholders and report to the Project Principal to keep projects on time and within budget. This role combines field oversight with formal project management to drive successful outcomes.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build project plans, schedules, and budgets and monitor progress to ensure timely completion
- 2Monitor cost and control budgets including invoices and change orders to stay within budget
- 3Lead project engineers, subcontractors, and vendors and motivate teams for high performance
- 4Maintain comprehensive project documentation and produce status reports with risks and recommendations
- 5Serve as primary client contact, manage expectations, and resolve issues to preserve relationships
- 6Promote safety on site through inspections and adherence to regulations
- 7Mentor and train project engineers and coordinators to improve practical skills
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 25+ years of construction project management experience with a general contractor
- 3Strong knowledge of construction practices, regulations, and risk management
- 4Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- 5Proficiency in project management software and tools
Salary Insight
$100 - $125k per year
