Project Manager EPC West Coast Logistics
Overview
The Project Manager – EPC leads large-scale EPC projects from engineering through construction and turn over. They coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver complex facilities on time and budget. This role differs by focusing on MEP or CSA disciplines and emphasizing advanced technology facility expertise.
What You'll Do15
- 1Manage execution of EPC EPCM Design-Build Construction Management projects from design through commissioning
- 2Lead cross-functional teams across engineering procurement construction project controls safety quality subcontractors vendors and stakeholders
- 3Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering deliverables design packages construction work packages procurement activities and milestones
- 4Lead design coordination and constructability reviews to identify technical conflicts schedule risks and constructability improvements
- 5Monitor project costs forecasts commitments change orders cash flow and financial performance
- 6Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to protect cost schedule quality and client objectives
- 7Manage scope changes and support evaluation documentation negotiation and execution of change orders
- 8Coordinate procurement strategy bid packages technical evaluations vendor activities subcontractor scopes equipment delivery and material requirements
- 9Oversee RFIs submittals technical queries design changes engineering documentation and field coordination issues
- 10Work closely with construction leadership to resolve engineering design issues during field execution
- 11Manage relationships with clients consultants subcontractors vendors and internal stakeholders
- 12Lead project meetings communicate status track action items and provide updates on schedule cost risk engineering progress procurement and construction performance
- 13Support commissioning planning startup punch-list completion system turnover project closeout and final client handover
- 14Ensure compliance with governance contractual obligations quality standards regulatory requirements and safety expectations
- 15Mentor and direct Project Engineers promote collaboration accountability continuous improvement safety and operational excellence
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Construction Management or related technical field
- 28–12+ years of experience in engineering construction project management or EPC
- 3Experience managing projects on MEP or CSA side
- 4Advanced Technology Facility experience including semiconductor fabs data centers pharmaceutical biotechnology facilities cleanrooms
- 5PMP certification preferred
- 6OSHA 10 preferred
- 7Strong leadership communication organizational problem solving negotiation and stakeholder management skills
