Overview

The Project Manager (PM) manages high risk and complex projects for Power Delivery Field Services Construction Management and System Studies practices. This role may include assisting a Senior Project Manager as an Assistant Project Manager. The PM leads projects from proposal to completion ensuring resources are allocated and budgets are managed. This position emphasizes external and internal customer service through clear communication and project reporting.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Lead project teams to successful execution acting as primary advocate and point of communication
  • 2Assist Senior Project Managers in coordinating large complex projects and programs
  • 3Develop project proposals ensuring clear understanding of scope and terms
  • 4Facilitate quote procurement for subcontracted services and materials
  • 5Compile project risks evaluate probability and plan mitigation strategies
  • 6Manage project resources monitor man-hours against budget and track subcontractors
  • 7Implement earned value tracking and reporting methodologies
  • 8Develop and maintain project schedules including sequencing critical milestones
  • 9Understand Power Delivery Quality Control Program requirements and schedule milestones
  • 10Administer project documentation including contracts invoices and reports
  • 11Communicate effectively with clients team members and TRC management

Requirements9

  • 1Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Business or Construction Management
  • 2PMP certification desired
  • 3Minimum 5 years related experience with 8 years preferred
  • 4Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 5Experience with Microsoft Office and MS Project
  • 6Knowledge of Project Management Project Controls and Construction Management
  • 7Ability to complete PDE Project Manager Qualification
  • 8Physical ability to perform essential job functions
  • 9Experience with remote resource management and cross-office coordination
