Project Manager, Construction Inspections NYC
Overview
You will own a portfolio of special inspection projects across the Tri-State area, from client onboarding to final report delivery. You'll lead coordination between 20/20 Inspections' technical team and clients, ensuring NCRs and RFIs are resolved quickly. With our on-site laboratory and dedicated field engineers, you'll manage schedules and documentation for complex code testing. This role stands out for its direct client exposure and mix of strategic planning with hands-on problem-solving.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build and maintain client relationships, understanding their priorities and project needs.
- 2Define project objectives, allocate resources, and develop project charters for each engagement.
- 3Plan and coordinate inspection schedules, tracking progress against milestones.
- 4Maintain all project documentation and distribute inspection reports to stakeholders.
- 5Facilitate weekly meetings with clients and internal teams, addressing issues or concerns.
- 6Notify clients of time-sensitive issues, including non-conformances (NCRs) and requests for information (RFIs).
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related field preferred.
- 22+ years of project management experience in construction.
- 3Proficiency in reading blueprints.
- 4Full-time availability with in-person presence in Brooklyn, NY.
- 5Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship offered).
