Construction Project Manager
Overview
Lead High-End Commercial & Healthcare Builds overseeing projects from preconstruction estimating through final closeout. Drive projects from Notice to Proceed through closeout while balancing field execution with financial management.
What You'll Do11
- 1Oversee all project phases from Notice to Proceed through final closeout while serving as primary client contact
- 2Produce precise cost estimates and manage project finances including budget tracking forecasting and change orders
- 3Develop and maintain CPM schedules in MS Project to monitor critical path and implement recovery plans
- 4Direct subcontractor activities on-site enforcing safety compliance contract scopes and quality standards
- 5Lead Infection Control Risk Assessment and Interim Life Safety Measures enforcement across active healthcare environments
- 6Manage document control including drawing revisions RFI logs submittal logs and change orders using Procore
- 7Coordinate regulatory inspections and sign-offs to compile final warranty packages and certificates of occupancy
- 8Minimum 5 years construction project management and estimating experience in healthcare institutional or commercial builds
- 9Managing active healthcare facility renovations with complete ICRA and ILSM compliance
- 10Knowledge of NYC Building Code DOB filing FDNY regulations and OSHA standards
- 11Advanced proficiency with MS Project QuickBooks and reading full construction documents
Requirements6
- 1Valid driver license and personal vehicle for travel across NY metro area
- 2Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3Project Management Professional PMP certification and OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification
- 4Experience managing projects within major health systems such as Mount Sinai NYU Langone or New York-Presbyterian
- 5Expertise in multi-trade estimating covering mechanical electrical plumbing fire alarm and civil scopes
- 6Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
Salary Insight
$120 - $145k per year
