Overview

Lead day-to-day execution of large commercial healthcare projects in Downey Whittier. Partner with Project Manager to direct subcontractors, site logistics, safety, quality, schedule, inspections, and commissioning readiness. Represent project with facility leaders and inspectors while maintaining credibility with superintendents and field personnel.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Lead daily field operations site logistics coordination cleanliness and professional jobsite standards
  • 2Implement site-specific safety plan lead safety meetings and support incident investigations
  • 3Create maintain and report project schedule identify constraints and implement recovery plans
  • 4Coordinate subcontractors and multiple trades according to contract documents and project milestones
  • 5Manage quality-assurance activities preparatory meetings deficiency resolution and documentation
  • 6Coordinate inspections with AHJs third-party inspectors facility representatives and other stakeholders
  • 7Drive submittal review material procurement delivery planning daily reports and field documentation
  • 8Support project startup commissioning and alignment with energy-performance requirements
  • 9Communicate project health risks and progress to Project Management and senior leadership

Requirements9

  • 1At least five years of experience leading large commercial construction projects valued at $10 million or more
  • 2Hospital or university construction experience
  • 3Proven field leadership trade coordination subcontractor supervision and jobsite-safety experience
  • 4Experience with pull planning and the Last Planner System
  • 5Working knowledge of Procore or similar project-management software and Primavera or comparable scheduling software
  • 6Ability to interpret plans specifications schedules contracts and quality requirements
  • 7Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • 8Ability to work onsite daily in the Downey Whittier area
  • 9Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
