Project Engineer JL Terrell Construction
Overview
We seek an ambitious motivated Project Engineer with at least 6 months experience in construction design architecture engineering or related fields. This role involves coordinating project activities to meet cost schedule document control and quality standards. The ideal candidate will promote firm and client interests while supporting Project Managers Superintendents and Assistant Project Managers.
What You'll Do5
- 1Support coordination development management and execution of all project aspects to ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards
- 2Assist Project Manager with construction planning schedule equipment deliveries facilitate data analysis generate reports and act as liaison between project team and community
- 3Promote firm and client interests in all matters
- 4Work closely with Project Managers Superintendents and Assistant Project Managers to provide technical support for financial reporting job costing change orders and project billing
- 5Develop proficiency in PlanGrid Procore and Sage 300 Timberline
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or GED required
- 2Associate degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- 3At least 6 months experience in construction design architecture engineering or related field
- 4Familiarity with PlanGrid Procore and Sage 300 Timberline expected to become proficient within 6 months
- 5Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- 6Proficiency in Excel and all MS Office programs
- 7Excellent proactive communication skills written phone and in-person
- 8Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues subcontractors vendors architects designers and community members
