Project Engineer - Commercial Construction

What You'll Do18
- 1Maintain project tracking reports to monitor productivity and labor utilization
- 2Create and maintain internal project schedules
- 3Prepare complete accurate and timely submittals for construction projects based on project drawings specifications and vendor information
- 4Track and receive approved submittals from architect or engineer and coordinate with project team
- 5Assist Project Manager and other Project Engineers by preparing all necessary back up relating to change requests
- 6Complete all required project close-out documents per contract
- 7Update and distribute contract documents to subcontractors including drawings specifications and general conditions
- 8Schedule required construction meetings with the ACI Team subcontractors vendors and customers
- 9Attend pre bid project and closeout meetings
- 10Solicit subcontractors and suppliers for proposals prior to submission deadline
- 11Prepare correspondence with client architect engineers subcontractors suppliers and submit building permit applications
- 12Follow up on review progress and receive upon approval
- 13Assist Project Manager to achieve quality schedule budget and safety
- 14Utilize and maintain tools to track and record project performance
- 15Document quality and progress of each subcontractor and supplier and notify of changes to plans specifications and schedule
- 16Inform management of productivity costs quality control document management and payment processing
- 17Notify management of issues affecting quality budget progress and safety
- 18Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements15
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons of experience
- 3Bachelor's degree in engineering field
- 4Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize team performance
- 5Superior communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- 6Must be able to multi-task work with minimal supervision follow written and oral instructions show attention to detail and demonstrate problem solving skills
- 7Must adhere to all company policy and procedures
- 8Available to work assigned schedules
- 9Work Environment: Professional office environment routine use of standard office equipment May require site visits
- 10Physical Demands: Use standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopier filing cabinets and fax machines Travel: May require infrequent travel typically not overnight
- 11Preferred: Experience as a Project Engineer on heavy commercial construction projects
- 12MS Project or other scheduling software tools 3D modeling experience Revit AutoCAD Inventor Navisworks
- 13PDF editing software Bluebeam Adobe Familiarity with cloud based PM software
- 14Prior military experience
