What You'll Do7

  • 1Direct coordination and support of projects and contracts in a functional area, ensuring alignment with program goals.
  • 2Track and document work standards, contractor schedules, discrepancies, personnel, and communications for substation, transmission, and distribution deployments.
  • 3Submit completed and approved design request documentation to the appropriate work groups within the first 90 days.
  • 4Track and support program and technical operations involving multiple project/task orders across diverse locations.
  • 5Facilitate site-walks and project meetings when the project manager cannot attend, maintaining momentum on deliverables.
  • 6Track meeting minutes, arrange schedules, and support risk, issue, and action item tracking to keep projects on course.
  • 7Report status on project support, deliverable tracking, and contracting and material procurement, providing transparency to stakeholders.

Requirements6

  • 13-5+ years of direct project coordination experience with Program or Project Managers on construction projects in Electrical/Gas Substation, Compressor, Transmission, Distribution, IT, or Civil.
  • 2B.S. in Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Business Management or equivalent field, with customer approval.
  • 3CAPM, Agile, or other project management certifications, training, or demonstrated experience.
  • 4Experience assessing the potential financial impact of projects to the company.
  • 5Demonstrated ability to review complex problems and propose innovative solutions.
  • 6Experience building solid business cases and project justifications.
