Overview
Lead cross-functional programs for Google Data Center construction and capital projects at scale. Own project schedules, budgets, and risk management across multinational teams. Drive end-to-end program delivery from planning through execution with measurable outcomes. Collaborate with engineering, finance, and site teams to implement scalable controls and continuous improvements.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build and drive the Capital Expenditure program with partner teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
- 2Lead continuous improvements of project controls for schedule and cost driven needs that create impact
- 3Support Data Center Project Managers and site teams with project control implementation including setup, training, execution and assurance
- 4Maintain project control specifications and scopes of work for contractors and vendors aligned with internal procedures
- 5Implement continuous improvement process and feedback loop to enhance governance
- 6Develop and implement performance measurement systems for projects and the portfolio
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor's degree with a technical emphasis or equivalent practical experience
- 25+ years of experience in construction of tech facilities with responsibility for project control scope
- 35+ years of experience managing multinational and technical programs projects
- 4Experience with P6 and enterprise cost systems
- 5Experience with Earned Value progress measurement productivity and resource management
- 6Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems
- 7Strong understanding of accountability and ownership for end to end project lifecycle
- 8Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of an organization with experience leading cross functional process improvements
- 9Balance with cost and schedule skills including scheduling EVM change order review review and approval of proposals invoicing pay applications risk management and value engineering
