Overview

Lead complex aerospace and defense programs from concept through delivery at scale. You will coordinate cross functional teams, serve as the primary customer contact, and drive performance across engineering, manufacturing, and operations. This role blends program management with technical understanding to move products from design through manufacturing to field use. You will work onsite in Hudson, MA in a collaborative, mission driven environment.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build detailed program plans with schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and milestones and drive progress to hit key deliverables
  • 2Own primary customer interface and translate technical requirements into actionable program actions for engineering and manufacturing teams
  • 3Define program scope and deliverables in alignment with contractual obligations and customer expectations
  • 4Coordinate cross functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, operations, and supply chain
  • 5Identify program risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and track risk status throughout the lifecycle
  • 6Implement corrective actions to maintain schedule, cost, and performance targets
  • 7Ensure compliance with AS9100 aerospace quality standards and MIL-STD military specifications
  • 8Maintain records of technical decisions, schedule changes, and earned value metrics for financial tracking
  • 9Support costing and quoting with accurate cost estimates and schedule inputs
  • 10Prepare concise updates and presentations for senior leadership highlighting status, risks, and decisions

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
  • 21–5 years of experience in program management, project management, or engineering management in aerospace preferred
  • 3Experience managing defense and commercial aerospace programs preferred
  • 4Experience with costing, scheduling, and earned value management
  • 5Strong customer interface skills and ability to manage expectations
  • 6Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira
  • 7Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies
  • 8Working knowledge of AS9100 and MIL-STD aerospace standards
  • 9Strong Excel skills for data analysis and program financial tracking
  • 10Ability to coordinate cross functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations
