Program Manager, Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing
Overview
program management for aerospace and defense manufacturing driving long term customer value for a key BAE Systems account. Own the relationship, coordinate cross-functional teams, and translate customer needs into executable programs. You will nurture trust, monitor account health, and identify growth opportunities while operating at the intersection of engineering, operations, and commercial activities. This role blends account management with program execution to strengthen the customer partnership over time.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build strong, credible relationships with customer stakeholders at multiple levels and establish yourself as a trusted partner
- 2Grow and strengthen the existing account by developing retention, relationship depth, and organic growth strategies
- 3Coordinate internally with engineering, operations, quality, estimating, finance, and leadership to ensure commitments are met
- 4Track program milestones, deliverables, schedules, risks, and customer commitments to ensure on-time execution
- 5Support quoting, pricing, proposals, and contract discussions as needed
- 6Maintain accurate account and program information in company systems and participate in customer meetings and business reviews
- 7Escalate issues appropriately and keep the customer informed throughout resolution
- 8Identify opportunities to expand Align Precision`s involvement within BAE programs and adjacent opportunities
- 9Monitor account health, proactively address issues, and improve customer satisfaction and share of wallet
- 10Translate customer requirements into actionable workstreams for internal teams
Requirements5
- 15+ years of experience in account management, program management, customer success, or a similar customer-facing role
- 2Experience working with BAE Systems, aerospace/defense, or a comparable complex OEM/customer environment preferred
- 3Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- 4Strong organizational and project/program management skills
- 5Excellent communication and follow-through
