What You'll Do19

  • 1Support program logistics planning and total lifecycle sustainment across multiple products and maritime platforms
  • 2Develop and execute Lifecycle Management Plans and sustainment strategies
  • 3Coordinate sustainment inputs such as maintenance concepts and spares planning
  • 4Analyze fleet readiness availability and sustainment costs
  • 5Track readiness drivers and obsolescence risks throughout product lifecycles
  • 6Maintain lifecycle data schedules and documentation per NAVSEA requirements
  • 7Assist senior team members in risk identification and mitigation strategies
  • 8Support POM cycle preparations and budget requirement submissions
  • 9Gather and validate technical financial and performance data for submissions
  • 10Develop requirements justifications and decision-support documentation
  • 11Track requirements funding profiles and lifecycle priorities across fiscal years
  • 12Align lifecycle priorities with long-range program and modernization objectives
  • 13Participate in IPTs and cross-organizational meetings
  • 14Coordinate with government agencies shipbuilders and vendors
  • 15Respond to data calls and provide proactive stakeholder communication
  • 16Prepare program briefs and leadership materials
  • 17Track actions and decisions from stakeholder reviews
  • 18Apply knowledge of small boats and maritime systems
  • 19Support lifecycle planning for maritime platform sustainment and modernization

Requirements12

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Engineering Logistics Systems Engineering Business Public Policy or related field
  • 2Approximately five years of professional experience supporting DoD Navy logistics or lifecycle management
  • 3Foundational knowledge of integrated logistics support and lifecycle sustainment
  • 4Ability to collect and present technical financial and performance data
  • 5Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 6Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel
  • 7Active DoD Secret clearance
  • 8Experience with NAVSEA or other DoD acquisition sustainment organizations
  • 9Knowledge of LCMPs POM or budget submissions and readiness analysis
  • 10Familiarity with small boats combatant craft or maritime platforms
  • 11Experience in shipbuilding modernization or fleet-readiness activities
  • 12Understanding of sustainment cost analysis and total ownership costs
