New Ship Construction Program Management Specialist
Overview
Mid ship construction program management specialist supporting all phases of program management lifecycle for Navy client programs. Responsibilities include analyzing program strategy developing financial budgets and coordinating with teams. This role offers unique exposure to defense acquisition processes and Navy shipbuilding initiatives.
What You'll Do11
- 1Formulate analysis of program strategy and overall planning
- 2Monitor task execution including external contractual performance
- 3Identify and mitigate program risks
- 4Develop and support financial and congressional program budget documents
- 5Analyze financial execution reports and provide regular analysis outputs
- 6Research acquisition policy and interact with multi-functional teams
- 7Author programmatic documentation and presentations
- 8Coordinate with functional SMEs on program documentation
- 9Facilitate meetings and briefings on behalf of the client
- 10Organize and execute client meetings as needed
- 11Demonstrate creativity and foresight in problem solving
Requirements9
- 110 years of experience with DoW acquisition programs
- 2Experience with Navy Shipbuilding & Conversion or Shipyard programs
- 3Proficiency with Microsoft 365 including Teams SharePoint Outlook Word Excel
- 4Knowledge of DoW/SECNAV 5000 instructions
- 5Ability to operate in a team-oriented environment
- 6Detail-oriented flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- 7Secret clearance required
- 8Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of program/project management support
- 9Master's degree and 10+ years of program/project management support
